The Ex-GDR Project


During the Liberation Struggle some 430 children had been sent into exile. Most of them lived in East Germany. With independence they were repatriated to Namibia. TUCSIN was instrumental in reintegrating them into the namibian society. By 2007 they had completed high school. TUCSIN sustains contact with many so-called ex-gdr-kids and continues to look for support where needed.
