TUCSIN 2003 students excel

Students from TUCSIN (The University Centre for Studies in Namibia) achieved excellent results once again for the 2003 IGCSE examinations.

The students from the Complementary Course based in Windhoek achieved a 98% pass rate. Two students from this course received the national prizes for receiving the highest scores in Namibia. In total TUCSIN students achieved two A plus symbols and 15 A symbols.

In addition to the above, TUCSIN students generally improved dramatically on results obtained prior to their year at TUCSIN, and they have to be commended for their hard work, dedication and self discipline.

The organisation now has four centres, a full-time and part-time centre in Windhoek and a full-time and newly established part-time centre in Oshakati.

The administrative and teaching staff of TUCSIN is ready to commence with yet another year, promoting education and providing support to young Namibians to make the best of a second chance: through this effort, TUCSIN has consistently contributed to the promotion of the education of young Namibians over the past 25 years. TUCSIN has, over a quarter of a century, succeeded to live up to its mission which included the creation of an atmosphere that stimulates studying and learning. The organisation also strives towards promoting the interaction of people from all walks of life, encouraging creative thinking and a positive, constructive and sensitive attitude towards problem solving.
